UniRes can produce a GST Report. Use this report when you fill out your BAS statement for lodgement to the ATO.

Note: If you want to use the HTML, DOC or Email output options, be sure to save and close any WORD document you may have open. These special output formats require you to have MS Word installed on your computer.

HTML,DOC and Email output takes longer than usual due to the formatting time required to generate the output.



Report Type

Standard

The GST Report is grouped and totalled on the TAX Type only.


Grouped by Type Code

The GST Report is grouped by the Site Type Code and then grouped by Tax Type for each Site Type code. You may find this report option better suited to your needs.



Report Detail


Summary

The report output does not include transaction details. Subtotals on tax %.


Detailed

The report output includes transaction detail. The report is grouped by tax % breaks and subtotalled.


Accounting Method

Cash

Choose Cash if you have elected and advised the tax department that you will be using the cash accounting method. Transactions not printed on a receipt will be excluded from the GST report.

Most users will be using the Accrual Accounting method.

Accrual

Select Accrual (the default choice) if you have advised the tax department that you use the Accrual accounting method for GST returns.

Most users will be using the Accrual Accounting method.

All transactions on accounts are used in the report depending on the options you have selected.


GST Reporting Period


Quick Month Pick

Use the Quick Month Pick list to select the Month or enter a From and To date for different periods eg. Quarter.



From

Enter the From date for the GST reporting period. Inclusive.


To

Enter the To or last day of the GST reporting period. Inclusive.
