Backing up your Company Files is one of the most important things to do on a regular basis is to safeguard your valuable data in case of accidental computer failure or a similar disaster. Backups should be done daily.

Backing up your company data is easy, as UniRes prompts you to do a backup every time you Exit UniRes. Once you have backed up your data for the day, UniRes will not prompt you again, as it remembers that you have already made a backup once that day, but you can still select Backup before you leave UniRes and make another backup.

Backup File Names

UniRes automatically creates a descriptive file name for your backup with the Company name date and time of backup. UniRes does not backup you Map Picture File, so be sure you have a copy of you Map picure file on a Floppy disk or CD.
