Power and Water System Improvements

Problem Reported:

Some users use the Power /Water List posting to do just one or 2 sites. This caused all the "power last meter reading" dates to be set to the current date for ALL in the list.

Fix: Only accounts with a charge for power or supply charge have their last meter reading set to the new reading date, so go ahead and use the list now for single postings. (Normally a single power posting should be done in the users account screen using the "P" code key.)

Many improvements have been made to the Power and Water Journals (Power Bulk Billing and Water Bulk Billing)

Power and Water charges posted in the Book and Bill screen have also been improved.

Power and Water Journal - Save and Recall.

Both Journals can be Saved and Recalled. You can post some entries and if you need to work with a walk-in customer, you can save the journal and return to it later to continue posting.

The "Walk Order" can be set for the Water Charges journal now.

Power and Water Charging from the Book and Bill Screen

Improvements have been made to the Pop-up window when you post a power or water charge using the P or W charge code keys (key pressed in the Code Column of the Charges screen)

You can now just post Supply Charges if there is no movement in the meter reading.

Power and Water Charges are posted as separate sessions and not combined in the one screen for clarity.

Note: Power and Water charges are now 3 cent up, 2 cent down, rounded on a line by line basis. This will eliminate rounding adjustments in the future.
