The Queensland Government has offered tenants who purchase power from a non-primary power merchant, a dividend from the government investment in power infrastructure owned by the government.
It is not our intention to repeat the exact legal text from the Qld government, so please consult your industry association for the details.
To help our valued UniRes users with the tracking of the Dividend allocation, several additions to UniRes have been devised.
Note that the method of tracking the dividend disbursement to the permanent residents using metered power sites, is our early interpretation of how to pass on the dividend $ amounts. It is up to you to determine if this is satisfactory. Please let UniRes support know, if you have more information or suggestions for improvement.
* New facilities in UniRes for the Power dividend functions.
Currently the Electricity Asset Ownership Dividend (EAOD for short), is $50.00 per year, and another $50 for next year.
