Column Headings:
Name Column
Shows the Surname of the Booking which will receive the charge.
Site and Number Columns
Shows the Site Type and Site Number (the site) which will receive the charge.
Bk. From Column
Shows the Bookings From Date for reference.
LM Date Column
Last Meter Reading Date
Shows the date of the previous meter reading. When you post the charge, the current meter reading date becomes the Last Meter Reading date.
TM Date Column
This Meter Reading Date -Input Field
If all meters have been read on the same date, you can globally set this field for all sites in the list by using the Meter Reading Date field at the top of the screen.
You can also set this date manually. The date is significant and is used in some tariff calculations to work out the number of days since the last reading and can be used to determine the pro-rata charges for pension rebates - supply charges etc.
The TM Date becomes the LM date after processing the list.
Last Meter Column
The Last Meter reading value in number of units.
This Meter Column
User Input.
The current new meter reading. This Meter reading value becomes the Last Meter value after processing.
Units Column
Calculated for you by subtracting the This Meter reading from the Last Meter Reading.
Charge Column
Calculated for you - or overtype as required.
The Power Charge system used Tariff Tables to calculate the charge.
Water, Gas and Phone calculations use static per unit values as set in the File Maintenance - System Access program.
Tariff Column
The Tariff Code determines the charge from the Power Table. The Tariff Code is picked up from the Booking - Extended Booking Details for a booking.
You can accept the default tariff or select a predefined Tariff Code from the drop down list. Press enter key twice to move to the next line.
Tariff Tables can be set using : Menu Bar - File Maintenance - Power Table.
When the screen first appears, your cursor is in the Meter Reading Date field. Press enter to go to the Exclude Types Field.
Change Display Order: After the list is displayed, you can change the list order to Surname or by Site Type and number.
Buttons ..
View Power Charge Table : This calls up the Power Maintenance Screen, allowing you to view or change the charging table, pensioner rebate and minimum charge. If you change the charge rates, you will need to regenerate the list and start over.
Print / Preview Journal Buttons: Use the Print Button to print a Postings Journal for your records. The Preview Button will show you the list on the screen instead of the printer.
Work List: After Generating a Power Billing List, select Work List to print a handy document to use as a working list. Spaces are provided to hand write meter readings. Take the work list back to the computer and enter the data.
Cust'm List / Customise: These buttons are for expert users only and start a special program used to customise report layouts. If you accidentally start the customisation program, you can close it by selecting File - Close from the menu at the top of the screen.
Click here to post power charges: After entering meter readings, and you have printed a Journal of your postings, click on this button to post the charges to the booking accounts. The account balances will reflect the debits for power and the power charge will appear on the next receipt. You can also verify the posting by using the D key in the Charges Screen (Display / Print statement).
