Configuration Note

If you do not require Power, Water, Gas or Phone (Manual) facilities, they can be turned off and "hidden" from the UniRes System using Menu Bar - File Maintenance- System Settings - Configuration TAB.

If a water meter is installed for the site, you can take a meter reading and post the water charge.

Water charges are calculated at the number of units X the cost per unit.

To charge for water, press the W key when the cursor is in the Code colum of the Line Entry area of the charges screen.

The following window will pop up.

Enter the new meter reading in the yellow input box and press enter.

The number of units is calculated for you by subtracting the last reading from the new reading.

Notes

The value last meter reading and the last meter reading date is stored in the site record. See File Maintenance - Site Numbering.

The Default cents per unit value is stored in the File maintenance - System Access - Charges Settings TABbed window.

You can also use the Water Meter Bulk Billing program to charge for water in one session for all sites that use metered water.
