Site Types must be defined before sites can be numbered. A Site is referenced by a 1 - 3 character code plus a 1 to 4 character site number.
To Add a Site Type …
1.Click on the Add Button
2.Press Enter on Site Type Box
3.Use the Keyboard up and down arrows to select a previously set Site Type and then press Enter
4.If you charge for power and have individual site power meters, enter the last 6 numbers of the meter reading if you are setting up the Park for the first time and press enter. Do the same for Water, Gas and Phone if applicable.
5.Type in the Site Number and press Enter.
6.Type in the number of Adults normally on site and press Enter.
7.Type in the number of children the site can accommodate and press Enter.
8.If you want the UniRes Charging program to calculate a Surcharge % for the site enter a * followed immediately by the percentage in whole number (no decimals) eg. *10 for 10%. and press Enter.
The Save Button should be highlighted now, so press Enter to save the new Site Type and number.
Repeat steps 1 to 8 for each site in the park.
When adding Site Numbers, UniRes will warn you if the Site Type and Number are already on file.
If you are setting up UniRes for the first time, Now is the time to consider renumbering or planning how your park sites are organised.
We suggest that things be kept simple and uniform in the numbering system so that reports and list generated by computer are produced in order. Eg. 01,02, 03 not 1,2,3 .
A Site Type must exist for every site number belonging to the group. If you haven't set up all your site types yet, do so now before continuing. See Site Types .
Start adding Site Numbers to the Site Types previously defined.
Note that if the entry boxes are full, the cursor will automatically jump to the next input box.
Boom Gate and Access Control Option fields
If you have the boom gate and access control option installed, you will have the Access Interface panel shown (see example above).
See the Boom Gate and Access Control Help for more.
Map Position Input Fields
You do not have to enter the Map position of the site manually when entering new sites. Use the Map program - Maintenance Button - to position the sites on the map and the Map Program will update the coordinates for you. You can Edit these numbers if you need to though.
Position 0,0 (x,y coordinates) denotes the top left corner of the Park Map. Initially, every position starts off at 0,0, this is ok.
Editing a Site Type and Number
You can not edit a site type and number, but you can edit the rest of the information for the Site.
To Edit , click on the Edit Button when the site is shown on the screen.
change the Last Meter Reading, Number of Adults .. Children and Features if necessary and click on Save Button.
Deleting a Site Number
You must position first to the site using the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen (Use the Find Button to show the site number quickly). The site should be visible on the screen.
Click on the delete button.
Note
If the site number has been used for a booking and the booking and the booking is still in the Current Bookings File, the site number can not be deleted. To delete a previously booked site, all bookings on the site must be checked out or cancelled and then use the Periodic Maintenance - Regular Cleanup program found on the Menu Bar, to move the bookings to the History File first. The site can then be deleted. This is a safety precaution as some other programs in UniRes expect to see a Site Type and Number in the Site Numbering file for a booking ie. the Map Program.
The Find Button
To help find site numbers, click on the Find Button.
A list window will be displayed with two lists.
The top list shows the Site Numbers on file and the bottom list shows some information about Bookings using this Selected Site. This is handy if you want to delete a site and need to see if there are any current bookings for the site.
oNavigate the top list using the keyboard arrow keys and the Page-up and page-Down keyboard keys.
oHighlight a Site Number on the top list and then Click on the Ok button. You will be returned to the Main Edit window with the number shown on the screen.

The control account must exist before you can allocate the site to it.
When you make a new booking, the preset control account number will be saved with the booking in the extended booking details of the booking. (Holiday Letting Agents should always link their sites to a control account for the owner of the site.)
Max Discount $
If you use association discounts (FPA etc), you can nominate a maximum discount value here for the site. This max discount value is for this site only and over-rides the global maximum discount set in system settings. Leave empty or set to zero to use the global discount maximum checking.
Alternate Type/Rate
You can pick an alternate rate code that you have previously defined and set a rate for. If you select an alternate rate, when a new booking is made, the rate for the site fee calculation will always use the alternate rate as defined here. If there is no alternate rate, leave the settng at the default type for this site type/number.
